Inspired by ancient Japanese bladesmithing, the 3.5-inch, partially serrated Tanto-style blade is made from 9Cr18Mov steel with a flat black titanium nitride corrosion-resistant coating, making it ideal for piercing, cutting, and slicing with a long-lasting edge.

For safety, the COAST Max Lock and Liner Lock systems provide rock-solid hand protection. The Max Lock can lock the blade in either the open or closed position, preventing the assisted opening mechanism from accidentally engaging in your pocket and protecting your fingers from an accidental closure during use. The Liner Lock, a safe single-handed blade control mechanism, allows you to keep one hand free while opening and closing the knife.
